On the 31st, Osang Healthcare (CEO Cheol-hoon Kang), a company in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) field, announced that its new personal blood glucose meter, GluNEO H, has been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

The 'GluNEO H' is a personal blood glucose monitor (BGM) that allows users to easily collect blood from their fingertips to measure blood glucose levels. It is a high-performance product that incorporates O'Sang Healthcare's technology and expertise accumulated over more than 20 years.

According to the company, 'GluNEO H' meets international quality standards (ISO 15197:2013) and can measure not only capillary blood from the fingertip but also venous blood, and it has improved accuracy by correcting for the effects of hematocrit. Additionally, blood glucose levels are displayed in color (blue/green/red), allowing users to intuitively check their blood glucose status. The device also features a larger LCD screen and a newly added test strip removal button, improving user convenience.
