On the 10th, Osang Healthcare, a leading company in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) field, announced that it had provided HbA1c meters for a diabetes management workshop conducted by Soonchunhyang University and the Fiji National Medical School.

Professor Yoo Byung-wook's team from Soonchunhyang University held a workshop titled “Diabetes Management Strategies Using Point-of-Care Hemoglobin A1c Measurement Devices” at the Fiji National University of Health Sciences from July 7 to 8.

Fiji is a high-risk country for diabetes, with approximately 16.6% of its adult population (93,300 out of 933,000 people) registered as diabetes patients. The workshop discussed ways to utilize point-of-care HbA1c meters for the early detection and treatment of diabetes patients.
